Mark room destination of each box on top and sides so we can place boxes where you want them.

Make sure all boxes are properly taped on bottom and top of box.

Do not over pack boxes or make them to heavy for movers.

Have all the small items out of the way so the movers can get to the bigger items first.
Anything you disassemble ahead of time will save time off your overall bill.(washer, dryer etc.)
Make sure all electronics are unhooked. ( tv, dvd, computer etc.)
Remove all shades and light bulbs from lamps.
Remove all bedding from beds. Fits good in a large garbage bag.
All breakables must be removed from drawers.
Have waterbed drained before movers arrive.
Remove gas tank from grill.

Pack a box of things you will need immediately at your new location and mark A.S.A.P.

Pack your cash, checkbook, jewelry and medications to carry with you.

Please have pets put away somewhere safe so they do not run out the door.

And pet dishes out of way so we do not trip over them.

Make sure driveway is clear so moving truck can back in.
|
Apartment move please have elevator reserved and locked off.
|
In winter make sure walkways are clear of snow and ice.
|
If disconnecting gas line, line should be caped.

Please do not pack checkbook.
